How it works
What is Case for Two?
Online escape rooms for two players. Each case is a mystery: you explore rooms, find clues and open locks to work out what really happened. One of you plays Fox and the other plays Doc, and each of you sees a different half of the case.
How does it work?
You each open the case on your own device and pick a side. You only see your own rooms, and almost every lock needs something only the other player can see, so you describe what you find and solve it together.
Can we play from different places?
Yes. The game doesn't link your devices: you share clues by talking. Play side by side, or on a phone or video call.
Does each player need their own device?
Yes, one each: a phone, tablet or laptop. Each device plays one side of the case.
Do we need to download anything?
No. It plays in your web browser, with no app to install and no account to make.
How long does a case take?
Most cases take one sitting, so set aside an evening.
What does it cost?
Episode 1 is free for both of you. Episodes 2 to 5 are £4.99 each, or £15.99 for all four. One purchase covers both players.
What happens after we buy?
You pay through a secure Stripe checkout and get a code, on screen and by email. Each of you enters it on your own device: a code works on two devices. A case gives you 5 days from when you start it, and you have 6 months from purchase to start it.
Does our progress save?
Yes, on the device you play on: refresh or close the tab and you carry on where you left off. Stay on the same device for the whole case.
Can we play a case again?
Yes. Start again on the case's play page clears your progress on that device. A paid case can be played while its 5 days are running.
